KIS Intensifies Commitment to Training and LINUX

The leading provider of information technology consulting and solutions, today announced that Tony Vickers joined KIS as a Senior Linux Engineer. As a Linux Engineer, Tony brings a wealth of experience and a very deep skill set to KIS, adding to a rapidly growing Linux Practice. As a Linux Instructor, Mr. Vickers brings a unique skill set to KIS, and this will prove valuable as our Training Practice continues to build momentum through the end of 2006 and into 2007. This combination of Engineering and Training capabilities will allow KIS to accelerate the buildup of Linux skills to match our fast-growing Linux Practice. The Linux Practice is managed by Allan Hurst, Director of Linux Strategy and Technical Principal.

Tony Vickers is the Founder of IDL Technology Group, Inc. based in San Diego, CA. He was elected as board member for the San Diego Linux Users Group (SDLUG).

A twelve-year veteran in the computer industry, Tony served most recently as Senior Linux Instructor for Interstate Training, a training company in Kansas City. Tony also worked at TurboLinux as a Senior Linux Instructor. While at Turbo Linux, he developed the TurboLinux Courseware, while providing instructional, hands-on training for Clients such as IBM and Intuit.
