What is LPI certification, and why do you need it?

It's not just our operating system that's changing to Linux; it's our entire professional environment. 

Lots of our members are Certified Novell Engineers.  Now we have to start certifying in Linux.  But which certification should you go for? 

This month, LPI's Larry McArthur will explain who LPI is, why they're offering Linux certifications, and how LPI certification ties in with specific vendor certifications from Novell, Red Hat, and others.This is a critical meeting to attend if you're trying to work out your Linux training and certification path.  Your Novell SUSE certification path could be easier than you think via LPI's programs!
